Ljëne is a conworld by Xhin.

Shadow -- type of matter in conflict with physical matter, producing shadow fields. They interact with gravity strongly, warping it (ljene orbits). With high enough gravity fields, they cause an enormous amount of energy to be released, if that gravity is not tempered by another source of gravity. In the case of Yardh, the moon's gravity was enough to offset that balance, but in proto-ljene, the energy released utterly decimated the world. In the case of suns, it is gravity itself that gives off the energy?
